We are happy to have you on the course and we are highly hopeful that it is a worthwhile learning experience.

ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) through Research Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) has designed a short course on grants writing and management within the scope of USAID programs. Based on RTAC’s engagements with researchers worldwide, it is clear that despite having the content expertise, University-based researchers in LMICs often do not have specific experience in how development works. This course will describe USAID’s granting mechanisms and priorities. The course will cover different approaches to and process of searching for funding and reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs) from USAID, the grant application process, key considerations to proposal writing as well as the Dos and Don'ts in grant writing.
